The inner universal joint is of the Tripod type and is connected to the differential with splines. The universal joints are filled with grease and are protected from dirt and damp by a rubber gaiter.

The drive shaft universal joint comprises a driver and a tripods. The tripod has three rollers in needle bearings and is axially displaceable inside the driver.
