Tie Rod End: Description and Operation

Track-rod ends

The track rods are bolted to the middle of the steering gear through rubber bushings. The track-rod ends are fastened to the track rods on each side with a left/right-hand threaded screw for adjusting the toe-in. Each track-rod end is secured to the steering arm of the steering swivel member with a self-locking nut. The track-rod ends cannot be dismantled but are self-adjusting to compensate for moderate wear.
