Cold draft from steering wheel

Car affected
Saab 9-3. model year 98-

Background
After the car has been standing in a cold environment for a time, the airbag module in the steering wheel cools down. This causes a cold draft around the steering wheel, making the driver's hands and knees cold despite the cabin temperature being satisfactory. The airbag module has a large mass and takes a long time to warm up.
For customers that are affected, a sealing strip can be fitted to the airbag module that will reduce the risk of cold drafts.

Parts required
(10) 51.70.774. Airbag sealing strip EPDM (CA: 30581411)

6. Fit the plugs into the screw holes.
