Mixed-air temperature sensor

Removing







1 Remove the glove box. See Body and Frame. Body and Frame
2 Remove the side panel from the centre console.
3 Remove the air duct on the floor.







4 Unhook and pull out the mixed-air temperature sensor.
5 Remove the connector and press out the sensor leads.

Fitting







1 Fit the leads in the connector and plug in the connector.
2 Fit the mixed-air temperature sensor in the climate control unit. Check that the sensor snaps into position.







3 Refit the floor air duct.
4 Refit the side panel on the centre console.
5 Refit the glove box. See Body and Frame. Body and Frame
6 Calibrate the ACC-system by simultaneously pressing the buttons "AUTO" and "OFF."

Important
All previous diagnostic trouble codes are erased when calibrating. Obtain readouts of stored diagnostic trouble codes before calibrating.
