Front Right


To remove





1. Remove the top part of the air cleaner and, if necessary, the mass air flow sensor, and move it aside.
2. Remove the connector's cable tie.
3. Separate the connector and snip the cable tie.
4. Snip the cable tie by the air cleaner attachment point.
5. Raise the car and remove the wheel.
6. Clean the area round the wheel sensor using a soft wire brush.





7. Undo the wheel sensor retaining bolt and remove the wheel sensor.
8. Remove the grommet and withdraw the lead.
9. Detach the lead from the clips and lift out the sensor.

To Fit
1. Insert the lead and press the connector home.





2. Fit the wheel sensor in its holder and tighten the retaining bolt.
3. Smear the rubber grommet with a soap solution and fit it in place.
4. Press the lead into the retaining clips.
5. Fit the wheel and tighten it. Lower the car to the floor. When tightening the wheel bolts the wheel must hang freely in the air.
Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.)





6. Plug in the connector.
7. Fit a new cable tie to the air cleaner's attachment point.
8. Refit the top part of the air cleaner and, if removed earlier, the mass air flow sensor.
