Turbo Bypass Control Valve

To remove
1 Unplug the two-pin connector from the control valve.







2 Fold up the bonnet sealing strip by the control valve mounting plate.
3 Carefully pull the mounting plate outward and unhook it from the edge of the bulkhead. Lift up the unit.
4 Mark the vacuum hoses and detach them from the valve.
5 Drill out the pop rivets securing the control valve to the mounting plate.







To fit







1 Fasten a new valve to the mounting plate with pop rivets.
2 Connect the vacuum hoses to the valve.







3 Fit the mounting plate.
4 Fit the bonnet sealing strip.
5 Spray the two-pin connector with Kontakt 61 (part no. 30 04 520) and connect it to the control valve.
