Checking Injectors Flow Capacity - Trionic T5

To remove







1 Remove the fuel rail with injectors as described in steps 1-6 in the section injectors.
2 Start the fuel pump by connecting jumper lead 83 93 886 between fuses 4 and 32. Make sure the injectors are not leaking.

Connect test hose 83 94 405 to the injector to be checked. Let the hose open out into a measuring glass. Connect the valve to battery voltage with cable 86 11 410 and jumper lead 86 11 345. Activate the injector for exactly 30 sec. and then make sure the amount of fuel in the measuring glass is 176 ±14 ml. Maximum permissible difference between injectors is 18 ml.







4 Change any defective injectors.

1 Fit the fuel rail and injectors. Make sure the correct connector is plugged to the relevant injector.
