Adjusting the Accelerator Pedal Cable

1 Remove the engine cover.
2 Remove the cable adjustment clip.
3 Adjust the cable's play by holding the pedal arm in the fully released position with one hand while pulling the cable taut with the other. Then slacken the cable to the sleeve's nearest notch.
4 Fit the clip.
