Air Vent Pipe









Dismantling
1 Raise the car.
2 Unplug the shut-off valve connector.
3 Detach the shut-off valve hose from the EVAP canister.
4 Undo the clamps securing the filler pipe and vent pipe.

IMPORTANT
Be careful with the retaining screw on the bottom clamp, as this is a plastic safety screw that must be replaced every time it is removed/fitted.

5 Remove the vent pipe.







To fit
1 First, fit the smaller clamp (without tightening it) and then the larger one.

IMPORTANT
The plastic screw on the bottom clamp is a safety detail and must always be changed every time it is removed/fitted.

2 Connect the shut-off valve hose to the EVAP canister.
3 Spray with Kontakt 61 and plug in the connector to the shut-off valve.
4 Tighten the clamps.

Tightening torques
plastic screw 1.8 Nm (1.3 lbf ft)

5 Lower the car to the floor.
