Check The Crankshaft Position Indicator Mounting







- Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
- Check the following:
- that no metal particles, swarf or the like are adhering to the sensor tip.
- that the perforated ring is well fixed to the crankshaft (pry it carefully with a screwdriver).
- that the perforated ring is not warped or damaged when the crankshaft is rotated.

Is the function correct?

NO - Continue With Check The Crankshaft Position Indicator Mounting

YES - Checking the Sensor's Grounding

Continue fault diagnosis as described in 2:1 Basic engine
