Trionic T7, 4-Cyl OBD II




WARNING
Be careful if the car is warm. The coolant is hot and there is a risk of burns from the intake manifold.



To remove
1 Carefully loosen the cap on the expansion tank (to release any pressure) and then screw it on again.







2 Unplug the connector and remove the sensor using a 19 mm dog-leg spanner.

To fit






1 Fit the sensor. Lubricate the threads with vaseline (part no. 30 20 271) or equivalent. Fit a new sealing washer as necessary.
Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 (pan no. 30 04 520) and connect it to the sensor.

Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.6 lbf ft)

2 Top up with coolant as necessary after fitting.
Start the engine. Make sure there are no leaks. Top up with coolant as necessary.
