WINTER Indicator Lamp:

WINTER indicator lamp not working.

Conditions
The WINTER function should work in TCM. If it does not work, see Automatic transmission, Testing and Inspection, Fault diagnosis, diagnostic trouble diodes or Fault diagnosis, fault symptoms.

Diagnostic help
The WINTER indicator lamp can be activated with the diagnostic tool.

Contact TCM
- Select "Activate"
- Select "WINTER lamp"

Check the wiring
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the various leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic instrument while carrying out this check.
