Condition

Diagnostic help
The lamps in the indicator display can be activated with the diagnostic tool.
- Select "Activate"
- Select the appropriate lamp.

Readings of the main instrument unit's 4 inputs (A/B/C/PA) from the selector lever position sensor can be obtained with the Diagnostic tool. For the right combinations for the different selector lever positions, see Selector lever position indicator.

Check the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the test.
