WARNING, IMPORTANT AND NOTE
At points throughout the service manual, you will see the headings Warning, Important and Note. They are to draw the attention of the reader to information of special importance. The three headings indicate how important the information is and the difference between the headings is explained below.
WARNING: Warns of the risk of material damage and serious injury to mechanics and the driver, as well as serious damage to the car.
IMPORTANT: Points out the risk of minor damage to the car and also warns the mechanic of difficulties and mistakes that waste time.
NOTE: Hints and suggestions on how the work can be done in a way that saves time and labor. This information is provided as a means of improving efficiency, not for reasons of safety.
