Hydraulic Body, Front
1. Raise the car and remove the wheel.
2. Use a pair of pliers to press the piston back and remove the clip.
3. Depress the brake pedal slightly, using a brake pedal clamp.
4. Remove fuse No. 12 for the brake lights.
5. Detach the hose from the hydraulic body.
6. Remove the protective caps and the hydraulic body's two guide pins.
To Fit
1. Fit the hydraulic body with clamp and tighten its two guide pins, using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
2. Attach the hose to the brake caliper.
Tightening torque 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
IMPORTANT: Pay attention to how the hose is turned so that it is not refitted incorrectly.
3. Remove the brake pedal clamp and insert the fuse.
4. Bleed the brake system.
5. Fit the front wheels and tighten the wheel bolts using a torque wrench.
Tightening torque 110 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
IMPORTANT: The wheel must hang freely when the wheel bolts are being tightened.
6. Lower the car and depress the brake pedal to press out the brake pistons.
7. Top up the brake fluid reservoir.
