Access flap ribs chafing against roof seal when soft top is
down (open)

Saab 9-3 CV with VIN between X7000001 - X7001979 (M99).
Background
The ribs on the bottom of the soft top cover access flaps on some cars are chafing against the side roof seals when the soft top is down (open). Take the following action after customer complaint.
Parts required
92 23 686 Rubber stop (2 pcs.) (CA: 30520847)
Procedure
1. Open the soft top cover and leave it standing in open position.
2. Cut off the end of the rubber stop.
3. Apply a small amount of glycerine or soap solution to the rubber stop.
4. Fit the rubber stop by twisting it into the hole in the access flap bracket.
Use a small screwdriver to help. Repeat the procedure on the other side.
