Work On Cars Equipped With Airbag

All Saab 9-3 are equipped with airbag system. Note the following when working with body repairs:
- Read through Safety and handling instructions before starting work.
- For work where the body may be subjected to bumps or blows, unplug the connection for the airbag system control module.
- When welding, remove and cover the battery minus cable.
- When painting in oven, the screw holes in the control module console must be covered to safeguard the control module grounding point.
