Microswitch Soft Top Cover Latch

Removing







The following describes how the right microswitch is removed. Left microswitch is removed using the same method.

1. Remove the rear side trim.
2. Remove the clip for the rear trim and lift up the trim.
3. Remove the screws holding the microswitch.
4. Unplug the connector and remove the microswitch.

Fitting







1. Fit the microswitch and tighten the bolts.
2. Plug in the connector and fit the tape
3. Fit the rear upholstery.
4. Refit the rear side trim.
5. Connect the diagnostics tool and erase any diagnostic trouble code.
