Microswitch, Fifth Bow Latch











Microswitch, Fifth Bow Latch

There are microswitches at both latches for the fifth bow that sense if the fifth bow is in lock position and ready for locking.
Pin 3 on the left microswitch is connected to control module pin 17 and microswitch pin 2 is connected to grounding point G36.
Pin 3 on the right microswitch is connected to control module pin 32 and microswitch pin 2 is connected to grounding point G36.
When the ignition is turned to ON, the control module feeds B+ from pins 17 and 32 via a 1 K Ohm resistor to the microswitches and when the fifth bow is locked, the microswitches close and ground the control module inputs.
