Upholstery, Backrest Including Child Seat
To remove
1 Press out the sides of the long load opening to tree the pins securing the armrest. Loosen one side at a time.
2 Put the armrest on a workbench.
3 Remove the upholstery by undoing the fastening at the back and pulling the upholstery from the armrest.
4 Remove the whole backrest and
5 Place the backrest face down on a workbench.
40-percent part: Remove the lock brace and joint.
60-percent part: Remove the joint.
6 Detach the upholstery and padding from the bottom by lifting the fastening strip and removing the upholstery and padding.
7 Detach the upholstery by cutting the staples.
To fit
NOTE:
Fit in reverse order. Fasten the upholstery to the padding with staples using the pliers supplied with the fitting kit.
Backrest Upholstery, Including Child Seat
To remove
1 Remove the 40 per cent backrest,
2 Remove the 60 per cent backrest,
3 Place the cushions on a workbench with protective covering.
4 40-percent backrest: Remove the lock brace and the right-hand joint from the backrest.
60-percent backrest: Remove the left-hand joint.
5 Detach the strip securing the upholstery to the rear section.
6 Remove the bottom of the child seat by unscrewing the seat joint.
7 Remove the head restraint by carefully lifting the upholstery with foam padding and pulling out the lock clips (one on each side).
8 Detach the T-strips securing the upholstery.
To fit
Fit in reverse order except for the lock clips securing the head restraint which should be pressed on first. When the upholstery and foam padding are in place, the upholstery will be guided to the correct position when the head restraint is fitted.
