Replacing Suspension Hook In Soft Top Storage

Removing







Hook, washer and pop rivet are included in spare part kit 47 41 971

1. Raise (close) the soft top.
2. Open the boot lid and pull out the strap with the defective hook.
3. Mark the position of the hook.
4. Split the seam securing the hook and remove the hook.

Fitting







1. Fit the new hook.

IMPORTANT: The strap should have the same length as the strap with the other hook.

2. Fold the strap as shown and make holes with an awl through three layers of fabric.
3. Fit the washer and pop rivet the strap.
