Rubber Stop Guide, Tailgate:

Adjustment


NOTE: Adjustment of rubber stop guides in the body and rubber stops in the tailgate are done so that the tailgate will not only rest on the lock but also on the rubber stops. First adjust the rubber stop guides positioned in the body.


1 Open the tailgate.
2 Loosen the inner trim on the left and right side of the tailgate opening by removing the two clips that secure the trim to the side.
3 Fold out the trim to access the two retaining nuts for the rubber stop guide.
4 Loosen the nuts and adjust.







After Adjustment:
1 Tighten the retainer nuts for rubber stop guide.
2 Refit the trim and fasten with the clips.

Adjustment Of Rubber Stops In The Tailgate:

- Adjust the height of the rubber stops by turning them in or out by hand. The rubber stops are threaded into the tailgate.
