Pillar Designation







Body pillars are designated using letters.

Five-door body:
A-pillar = between windscreen and front door opening.
B-pillar = Between front and rear door opening.
C-pillar = Between the rear door opening and the permanent side window.
D-pillar = Between the permanent side window and opening for the tailgate.

Three-door body:
A-pillar = between windscreen and front door opening.
B-pillar = Between front and rear door opening.
C-pillar = Between the rear door opening and the opening for the tailgate.
