A Click Is Heard From the Door Loudspeakers

A click is heard from the door loudspeakers when the audio system is switched off. Clicks are heard when changing programme source.

Clicks are heard from the door loudspeakers when the audio system is turned off. Clicks are heard when the program source is changed.

Probable cause of fault
Break in the lead (Mute control) from the main unit to the amplifier.

Check wiring harness.
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic instrument during the test.
