For US/CA: VIN starts at X2000001 and X7000001 (CONV) respectively.

Other markets: VIN starts at X2020001 and X7020002 (CONV) respectively.

As the electrical system differs from VIN X2020001 (X7020001), there are two wiring diagrams for each system. They are marked up to X2020000 and from X2020001 respectively and where applicable for wiring diagrams specific to convertible models, up to X7020000 and from X7020001 respectively.

DATE MARKING OF WIRING DIAGRAMS
All wiring diagrams, both in WIS and in manuals, are marked at the bottom, e.g.:

where the top row is the file name and the bottom one is the date on which the diagram was compiled. The date is given in the form YYMMDD. Always use the latest wiring diagram.
