Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

To remove







NOTE: The luggage compartment switch is not stocked separately as a spare part. The complete lock must be replaced.


1 Open the tailgate.
2 Remove the tailgate trim.
3 Loosen the pull rods from the lock (2 clips) and let them hang from the plastic joint and door handle respectively.







4 Remove the three screws holding the lock.
5 Take the lock out from the front.

To fit







1 Put the lock back in position and tighten the 3 screws.
2 Attach the pull rods.







3 Fit the trim on the tailgate.
