Alarm Tripped
When the alarm is armed, it is tripped if alarm information reaches the TWICE control module at the connections given in the following situations:
Driver's door Pin 61
switch grounded
Passenger door Pin 60
switch grounded
Left rear door Pin 12
switch grounded
Right rear door Pin 36
switch grounded
Luggage compartment Pin 35
switch grounded
Bonnet switch Pin 41
grounded
Signal from glass Pin 58
breakage sensor
Signal from Pin 19
angle sensor
Ignition turned ON Pin 16
with wrong key or
ignition lock bypassed
Any wires to the Pin 29
siren cut
Car battery disconnected
When the alarm is tripped, the siren sounds for 28 seconds and the direction indicators flash for 5 minutes. If a door is open, this is repeated 10 times.
To stop an alarm, it must be disarmed with the remote control. This is done by pressing one of the UNLOCK buttons on the remote control or by turning the key in the ignition.
Important
This type of alarm tripping is standard (on delivery). The flash and sound times can be reprogrammed as required for the market concerned.
