Antenna Unit, Immobilization

Antenna unit, immobilization is a receiver for the car key's identification code. It is located at (around) the ignition switch and grounded at ground point G24. The antenna unit is also connected to the following pins on TWICE:

Power supply B+ Pin 50
Signal (data) Pin 39

Function
The standard equipment on the car includes a system that prevents starting of the car unless the correct key is used. There is a transponder in the key with an identification code that is unique to that particular transponder. The receiver receives the identification code and sends it on to TWICE.
