- Check the hose between the pressure sensor and intake manifold.
- Check the manifold absolute pressure sensor's connector for moisture and corrosion. Also make sure that the seal in the connector is neither missing nor damaged.
- Check the hose between the fuel pressure regulator and the intake manifold
Is the function correct?
NO -
YES - Continue With Checking Fundamental Causes Of Faults
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Contact Trionic 5 OBDII.
- Test value:
Coolant Temperature
- Check that the readings are reasonable compared with the engine temperature.
Are the reading reasonable?
N0 -
YES - Continue With Checking Fundamental Causes Of Faults
Reading: Intake Pressure
The reading should be 102 kPa
Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits m the wiring harness Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
Is the function correct?
NO -
YES - Continue With Checking Fundamental Causes Of Faults
- Start the engine and run it at idling speed.
Reading: Intake Pressure
The reading should be 40 kPa - 60 kPa
Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
Is the function correct?
NO -
YES -
