Oxygen sensor, input to control module low/high, break, missing or short Circuit to ground/Batt+







Fault symptoms
The CHECK ENGINE lamp (MIL) comes on

Conditions
Voltage lower then 0.04 Volts for at least 25 seconds when the engine temperature exceeds 70 °C (158 °F)
or
Voltage higher then 1.1 Volts for at least 1 second when the engine temperature exceeds 70 °C (158 °F)
or
Voltage fixed between 0.40-0.55 Volts for at least 1 second when the engine temperature exceeds 70 °C (158 °F)


NOTE: If the oxygen sensor is faulty, the control module attains a fixed signal voltage of 0.5 Volts.
