Checking The Oxygen Sensor's Electric Interface












Unplug the connector:
- Heated oxygen sensor 1 OBDII (592Fa)
- Connect the positive pole of a 1.5 V battery to pin 4 of the oxygen sensor's female connector and the negative pole to pin 3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.












- Contact Trionic 5 OBDII

Reading O2S 1
The reading should be 1.2 V -1.6 V

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this
