- Clear diagnostic trouble codes
- Run the engine until the radiator fan starts

Unplug the connector:
- Engine coolant temperature sensor, instrument (45)
- Contact Trionic 5 OBDII
- Test value:

Coolant Temperature
- The coolant temperature should drop and stabilize at about 89 C (192 F).

Is the function correct?

NO - The fault persists

YES - The steps taken to rectify the fault were correct.
