Checking The Control Module's Pressure Sensor Input












- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.







- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Contact Trionic 5 OBDII.







Reading: Throttle Position
The reading should be 99%

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.

Is the function correct?

NO
-

YES - Continue With Checking The Control Module's Pressure Sensor Input












- Connect a jumper lead between pins 2 and 3 of the female connector.







Reading: Throttle position
The reading should be 0 %

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing this.
