Checking the Sensor's Power Supply












- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.







- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.

Unplug the connector:
- Manifold absolute pressure sensor (431)












Take a voltage reading.

The reading should be 4.5 V - 5.5 V

Checking the wiring harness.
Jiggle the leads and in-line connectors at several places and in different directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short circuits in the wiring harness. Observe the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool while doing tins.

Is the function correct?

NO - Rectifying the Lead - I

YES - Checking Sensor's Grounding
