Washer Fluid Level Indicator: Description and Operation

The low washer fluid lamp lights up when there is less than 1.4 litres of fluid remaining in the reservoir.

The level switch in the fluid reservoir is connected to the Saab Information Display (SID) unit. When the fluid drops below the 1.4 liters level, the SID unit connects the indicator lamp to ground via pin 2 (12p-1) of the main instrument display panel.
