Checking Hydraulic Pressure





IMPORTANT: This test must not take longer than 5 seconds! Checking is not recommended for the turbo version.

1. Remove the test plug from the transmission casing and connect an oil pressure gauge.
2. Chock all four wheels on the car.
3. Apply the handbrake fully.
4. Press the brake pedal down hard.
5. Start the engine and check the idling speed (900 rpm).
6. Move the selector lever to position D and check the system pressure as indicated in the table.





7. Move the selector lever to position R and check the system pressure as indicated in the table.
