Customer Safety Information

The cars are equipped with those seat belts required by the market. All belts have been tested for type approval. On the belt is a label which gives the manufacture, the manufacturer's part number and the year of manufacture, codes for type approval and the Saab original part number.

WARNING: The label must not be removed from the belt. No changes or repairs may be made to the belt and the securing points may not be changed. Make sure that the correct belt is fitted for variant and position according to the spare parts literature.

WARNING: If the car has been involved in an accident and a belt tensioner has been activated, the complete belt, seat belt lock and end fitting should be changed. If any rear seat belt was in use during the accident, this should be changed together with the seat belt lock, belt member and brackets. If no belt tensioner was detonated, carefully check all belts and other equipment.
