Malfunction Lamp / Indicator: Description and Operation

A lamp is situated behind the SRS symbol in the main instrument display panel.

Should the system develop a fault, the SRS lamp will start flashing. It will continue to flash for 5 minutes and then remain on without flashing.

The SRS lamp is supplied with current (+15 circuit) in the main instrument display panel, pin 11 (12p-1), and connected to ground by the airbag control module via pin 7 (12p-2) of the main instrument display panel connector.
