Shift Interlock Solenoid: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the floor and centre consoles.
2. Release the wiring by snipping the cable ties.
3. Remove the electromagnet (2 screws).

Installing
1. Slacken the electromagnet's screws.
2. Measure the distance between the hook and pin when the hook is in its bottom position.
- The distance should be 1-2 mm.
3. Tighten the screws.
4. Install the electromagnet and secure the wiring.
5. Refit the floor and centre consoles.
