Programming
Starting with M 1995, the Intelligent Saab Tester (ISAT) Scan Tool is equipped for programming Saab Information Display (SID) 213 and SID 4 (SID 1 with audio display). Only one basic programming routine is provided and since the ISAT Scan Tool does not show how the instrument is programmed, the routine cannot therefore be used to check this. Basic setting of the following features is carried out and they must be adapted to the relevant market by means of the adjustment commands.- Service indicator
The normal service interval is 20,000 km. This can be programmed and changed with "SERVICE INDICATOR" in the ADJUSTMENT" menu.
- Language
The basic setting (English) can be changed with "LANGUAGE" in the "ADJUSTMENT" menu.
- Units
The basic setting (metric) can be changed by means of the SID unit's pushbuttons.
- Speed warning ME
This speed warning feature is inactive in the basic setting. It is activated by "SPEED WARNING ME" in the "ADJUSTMENT" menu.
NOTE: It is advisable before programming is started to make a note of the current equipment of the SID version (Sensonic, TSAS or
standard). These details are required in connection with programming.
