Fault symptoms
Trip meter zeroized each time ignition is switched on.
1 Connect an Intellegent Saab Tester (ISAT) Scan Tool and select "READ VALUES" followed by "+30".

If +30 circuit current is present, the display will show "+30 ON"

If +30 circuit current is not present, the display will show "+30 OFF".

If this is the case, continue with point 2.
2 Check that fuse 34 is intact.
3 If it is, check the wiring by connecting a BOB to the main instrument display panel's 56-pin connector.
4 Check whether battery voltage is present on pin 56 of the BOB. If no battery voltage is present, there is probably an open circuit between fuse 34 and the main instrument display panel.

Investigate the cause and take appropriate action.
