Cruise Control Indicator Lamp: Description and Operation
The main instrument display panel incorporates a CRUISE indicator lamp which lights up when Cruise Control is engaged.
The lamp is supplied with current by the cruise control system control module via pin 7 (12p-1) of the main instrument display panel, in which it is also connected to ground.
In the TIP position, however, the lamp goes out as acknowledgement that TIP mode has been selected.
The CRUISE indicator lamp is also used in diagnostics mode to provide information about the system.
