Heater Housing, Removal

1. Install hose clips on the hoses by the heater-box.
2. Remove the hoses from the heater-box.
3. Blow compressed air through one of the hoses to empty the heater box of coolant.
4. Carry out the following operations:
- Remove the glove box.
- Remove the panels on both sides of the centre console.
- Remove the cover round the ignition switch.
- Remove the rear ashtray.
- Remove the rear air vents and the cover.
- Remove the screws securing the rear part of the centre console.
- Remove the switches for the window lifts.
- Remove the ACC control module, if fitted. Remove the centre console.





5. Snip the cable ties and remove the rear air ducts on the floor in front of the heater box.
6. Open the heater box enclosure.
7. Remove the clips securing the hoses to the heater box.
8. Remove the toggle clips on the side of the heater box housing, put down the hoses and lift out the heater box.
