Installation

1. Clean the bearing surface in the cylinder block.
2. Install the bearing on assembly tool No. 83 94 470 or equivalent.
3 Insert the assembly tool from the flywheel end and install the pull rod with nut.
4. Tighten the nut until the mark on the tool is in line with the edge of the hole for the cover washer.
- The bearing is now in the correct position.
5. Dismantle and remove the special tool.
6. Check that the oil passage is open.
7. Install a new cover washer.
