Replacement

Removal
1. Drain the brake fluid reservoir of brake fluid.
2. Place a piece of paper or rag underneath the master cylinder.
3. Disconnect and plug the brake pipe connections.
4. Remove the two master cylinder retaining nuts and lift out the master cylinder.
5. Transfer the brake fluid reservoir to the new master cylinder.





Installation
1. Install the master cylinder to the brake servo unit and tighten the retaining nuts.
2. Install the brake pipe connections. Take away the paper or rag from under the master cylinder.
3. Top up the brake fluid in the brake fluid reservoir.
4. Bleed the brake system.
5. Check operation by depressing the brake pedal. Also check the brake pipe connections for tightness and leaks.
