Replacement of Rear Door Lock

1 Remove the door handle and door trim.
2 Unplug the electric window lift connector.
3 Detach the two rods for the inside door handle and locking button. They are clipped in place by the lock.


Important: It will be easier to undo the clips if you wear gloves. The clips have sharp edges.


4 Remove the three screws securing the lock and lift out the entire lock mechanism with motor.
5 Unplug the connector.
6 Remove the two screws securing the motor to the lock assembly and unhook the motor.

Install in reverse order.
