If the hood of the Saab 900 Cabriolet is lowered or already down when the ignition is switched on, a signal from the TSAS control module is applied to pin 5 of the Saab Information Display (SID). The [1][2]Saab Information Display (SID) then sends a "TOP OPEN" signal via pins 16 and 17 to the ACC control module.
