Programming Alarm "Chirp" (Buzz)

1. Connect and turn on Tech 2.

2. Go to the Anti-Theft diagnostics menu.

3. Select F2: Programming.

4. Select Flash/Buzz Adjustment.

a. Press Enter.

b. Original Value is displayed. Press Enter.

Note
Selecting Original Value will reset all chirp (buzz) and light flashes, requiring that all values be reprogrammed.

c. Press the soft display key for OK.

d. Press Exit.

5. Go to Sound Duration.

a. Press the soft display key for increase or decrease until 10 ms is displayed.

b. Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

c. Press Exit.

6. Go to Flash/Buzz Adjustment.

a. Go to Lock-Buzz. Press Enter.

b. Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Buzz-1.

c. Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

d. Press Exit.

7. Go to Unlock-Buzz.

a. Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Buzz-2.

b. Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

c. Press Exit.

8. Go to Tailgate-unlock Buzz.

a. Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Buzz-3.

b. Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

c. Press Exit.

9. Go to Lock-Flash.

a. Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Flash-0.5 sec.

b. Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

c. Press Exit.

10. Skip Unlock-Flash.

11. Go to Tailgate Unlock-Flash.

a Press the soft display key for Change until it displays Flash-2 sec.

b. Press the soft display key for Program ECM.

c. Press Exit until Clear vehicle appears on the display.

d. Press the soft display key for Clear vehicle.

12. Turn off and disconnect Tech 2.

13. Check the operation of the anti-theft system:

^ Lock: one chirp (buzz), one short flash.

^ Unlock: two chirps, three short flashes.

^ Unlock trunk: three chirps, one long flash.
