Fault symptom
ABS warning lamp on, no ABS function.

Condition
- Battery voltage <9V for more than 0.5 seconds.
- Wheel speeds over 8 km/h.

Diagnostic procedure
1 Battery check
- Check the condition of the battery.

Is the condition of the battery OK?
YES - Continue with point 2.
NO - Rectify the fault

2 Electronic control module voltage supply check
- Remove the electronic control module connector. The ignition should be in the ON position. Take a voltage measurement at the sensor connector. Connect the voltmeter
- between pin 17 and B+ = <0.5V
- between pin 18 and B+ = - between pin 15 and B+ =
Are the voltage ratings OK?
YES - Continue with point 3.
NO - Check and rectify the wiring including the connector.

3 Final inspection
- Erase the diagnostic trouble code.
- Carry out the driving cycle, drive the car with various load and engine speeds for 5 minutes.
- Read the diagnostic trouble code.

Is the diagnostic trouble code stored?
YES Continue "Test Procedure Prior To Replacing ECM"
NO - The diagnostic procedure performed is right or the fault is of intermittent character.
