NOTE: Short circuit to the battery.

FAULT SYMPTOM
Temperature gauge always shows cold engine.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
1. Check that there are no diagnostic trouble codes stored in the main instrument.
- If there are diagnostic trouble codes, fault in main instrument.
2. Connect a Break Out Box (BOB) and check the wiring for any short circuit to positive voltage between:
- Integrated Central Electronics (ICE) module connection 61 and connection 4 in main instrument 1.
- ICE connection 14 and connection 7 in main instrument 2.
3. Clear the diagnostic trouble code, start the car and check if the diagnostic trouble code reappears.
